Summary:The Belt and Road Initiative is a project which was established by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013. Belt and Road Initiative is a mega project that becomes the new model of globalization and helps to realize Sustainable Development Goals number eight and ten which are decent work and economic growth and reduce inequality. The Belt and Road Initiative provides infrastructure investment for participant countries. This can be categorized as good opportunities for participants since it can boost economic growth. However, the participant countries might have different business environment which might lead to the different perception, success possibility, and opportunities from BRI. This research intends to find out the perception of participant countries towards BRI, the business environment differences, the success of participant countries in globalization, international trade and equality and its opportunities from Belt and Road Initiative. The study was conducted using qualitative and quantitative research where the data was collected through secondary data and analyzed using content analysis, K-Mean Cluster, One-Way ANOVA, and PLS SEM. The result indicates that there is different perception on BRI which are negative and positive. There are 3 categories of participant countries in BRI and they have different success possibility in globalization, international trade, and equality and having the different opportunities of Belt and Road Initiative. The finding of this research is expected to enhance both BRI parties and participant countries’ knowledge to maximize the benefits.
