E-wallet offers people greater freedom in doing transactions as it only requires the help of smartphone and internet connection. However, many people are not so aware about the risks while making transactions using e-wallet services. Therefore, this study aims to determine the risk perception after the actual usage of e-wallet in Indonesia. A proposed framework is arranged by adopting the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) variables which extends to the perceived risk variables. There were in total nine variables to be tested namely Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Actual Use, Perceived Performance Risk, Perceived Security Risk, Perceived Financial Risk, Perceived Time-loss Risk, Perceived Socio-psychological Risk and Perceived Risk. To reach the above-mentioned objective, a quantitative approach is applied. This study used questionnaire that distributed online through Google form. The respondents of this study limited to people that categorized as millennial generation and post-millennial generation that aged between 10 until 39 years old and live in Jakarta or Bandung. Total of 400 respondents have been responded to the questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive analysis and mean analysis. The findings reveal that besides the easiness and usefulness in using e-wallet, the two generations perceived performance risk, security risk, and financial risk as the highest perceived risk in using e-wallet. The millennial generation tend to see higher risk on security aspect than the post-millennial generation while the post-millennial see higher risk on performance and financial aspects of the e-wallet. The result of this study will be used as a reference that provide useful knowledge to future e-wallet users, current e-wallet users, academics, government and e-wallet service providers in Indonesia text
