In this study, nitrogen is chosen as the displacing gas due to its inert behavior so that it won’t corrode the injection and production equipment. There are some issues about the methods and operational problems related to this topic and this study presents the best method that would give the biggest oil recovery by numerical simulation. Simulation was done to a solution-gas drive reservoir using simulator ECLIPSE 300. There is also calculation of MMP and swelling effect of nitrogen to oil in laboratory scale using software PVTP. text |
