Lupus is a chronic disease caused by a malfunction in a person's autoimmune system, with various symptoms and a high risk of death. Lupus is also an incurable disease, so the patients need to take continuous treatment. Not only in adults, Lupus can also attack children, some of them are seven to twelve years old. Therefore, guidance and education about Lupusis very necessary for children with Lupusin understanding their own condition in order to have a good quality of life. However, the availability of media that can support the education is still low. Therefore, the design of a book app about Lupus education was carried out so that it could be an interesting and interactive Lupus identification media for children in the age range of 7-12 years. This book app discusses Lupus in terms of symptoms and treatments for people with Lupus through a story telling approach. Interactive features in the form of interactive image sequences are added to the book app to make the media more communicative and able to increase children's involvement in reading. It is hoped that this design will be able to provide educational media for children in understanding Lupus as well as supporting media for families and mentors in educating children about Lupus
