What human can do as the user of technology is to utilize it for good reasons. For instance, implementing technology to help human deal with their limitation at work. Dealing with millions of existing data and thousands of data daily, Danone chose to implement a technology that helped them dealing with that much data everyday. The technology is RPA or Robotic Process Automation. Just like the name, it automates many kinds of process that happen in the department. Implementing this technology hopefully can lead to an increase in their work efficiency. This study will compare what is the difference between using RPA or just process the data manually. Adding to that, this study will also look for changes that has been made in order to increase their work efficiency beside the implementation of RPA. In fact, implementing RPA to automate repetitive task that might drain human without much output is working well. Doing interview as data collection process, the respondents that are participating for this study are the initiator and the active user of RPA. The respondents mentioned that RPA works amazingly for time-saving aspect while still offering the same quality of output since they have the same accuracy with the one previously. Although, RPA as an enhancement for their overall performance was added, RPA sometime encounter error in its’ running process and it is found that it is because of the human intervention that happen from time. This study is expected to understand all the changes and readjustment that happen after using RPA and looking for its’ impact. Also, to help the company to find any necessary refinement that can increase overall performance of the department.
