Isolation of flavonoid was done to the methanolic extract of volatile oil distillation residue and isolate Q was obtained. The crude drug and methanolic extract of distillation residue of Hedychium roxburghii contains flavonoid, steroid/triterpenoid, and quinone. The total flavonoid content of Alpinia sp., Amonnun hoehreutineri, Hornstedtia pininga, tepus, and H. roxburghii are respectively 0,071+0,006, 0,076±0,007, 0,040+0,003. 0,020±0,000, 0,162+0,004%. Isolate Q was identified as a flavonoid aglicone and could be an aurone that has free 4'-OH or flavonol that has free 3-OH with or without free 5-OFT. text |
