Summary:This research is based on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project. The railroad tracks used in this construction project have a length of 50 meters. In this study, we will design a rail support for the transportation of rail tracks with a length of 100 meters using flat carriages. The lack of regulations for the transportation of rails with a length of 100 meters in Indonesia also encourages this research to be carried out, which is expected to later become a recommendation for support design and regulations for the transportation of rails with a length of 100 meters. Modeling using SolidWorks software based on design requirements and objectives. This study uses the finite element method to analyze the loading, safety factor, deformation, and life cycle of the support when passing through the curve track. The simulation results are validated by conducting a convergence study. This research shows that the most superior design is the open and close option 3 design. All four designs have high safety and life cycle factors. Only the open-close option 3 design has an open-close feature for easy mounting of the rail on the support. The Option 3 design has a safety factor of 8.86 and a life cycle of 1 million cycles of use.
