Description
Summary:Ozone is a common secondary pollutant in urban areas. The analysis of ozone concentrations temporally this time is intended to find out the picture of ambient air ozone concentrations in urban areas, especially DKI Jakarta in 2018-2020. The study's goal was to determine diurnal variations in ozone, an average ozone concentration of 1 hour and 8 hours to compare with national quality standards, as well as factors that influence fluctuations in ambient air ozone concentrations. The data used comes from the results of continuous monitoring in 5 monitoring locations spread across every administrative city in DKI Jakarta. The pattern of diurnal variation shows that the peak hours of ozone concentrations each year have not changed significantly and always occur at 12:30 large- scale social restriction policies (PSBB) in 2020 have a positive influence on ozone concentrations in Jakarta. The standard weathering of national air quality standards for ozone parameters always occurs in 5 monitoring locations, both for measurement time of 1 hour or 8 hours. The level of ozone concentration in Jakarta is quite large influenced by traffic density. Based on correlation analysis, solar and air temperature are directly proportional to ozone concentrations, while wind speed and humidity are inversely proportional. In addition, based on correlations also obtained that air temperature and humidity correlated strongly with ozone concentrations in Jakarta, while solar radiation and wind speed correlated weak to moderate.
