Description
Summary:ABSTRACT DESIGN A VIRTUAL HUMAN ANATOMY LABORATORY WITH INTERACTIVE 3D MODELS By Chessa Nur Triejunita NIM: 23220101 (Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering) Learners feel that studying human anatomy using only 2D representations is not easy and laboratory access is limited to conduct experiments. Previous studies have found that virtual human anatomy laboratory with 3D models can solve this problem. However, the 3D model developed in previous studies have weaknesses, namely they are less complex, cannot be controlled and are less interactive, and there is no detailed explanation. This study develops a virtual human anatomy laboratory based on a mobile application and analyzes the impact of its use on learning outcomes. The evaluation was conducted using a crossover repeated measures design and a user perception survey was performed by adopting HMSAM (Hedonic-Motivation System Adoption Model). The results show that the use of virtual laboratory application has high effectiveness and users want to use the application frequently. This study showed a significant increase in learning outcomes from the use of virtual laboratory application. Learner’s perceptions of the use of the application are generally very positive and useful. Keywords: virtual laboratory, anatomy, 3D models.
