Description
Summary:The Covid-19 pandemic is a big challenge for the education system so the government instructs all educational institutions to innovate by switching from face-to-face learning to online learning. Digital physics magazine is a development of printed magazines, where digital magazines no longer use paper as raw materials like magazines in general, but in the form of digital files that can be accessed via electronic media. The content contained in the digital physics magazine is arranged as attractively as possible by displaying more pictures, illustrations, videos, colors, and visualizations of the material presented so that it is different from textbooks and reference books, which mostly give the impression that they only contain text and calculations. The purpose of this research is to make physics learning media in the form of a digital physics magazine based on a scientific approach to the material of work and energy. The research method used is using the ADDIE model: analysis (analysis), design (planning), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The validation of the digital physics magazine was carried out by two physics lecturers as experts and one physics teacher as a practitioner. The learning media for the digital physics magazine based on the scientific approach that was developed is declared valid and feasible to use if it meets the aspects of the validation assessment. The digital physics magazine is judged on the material and media aspects. In the aspect of material feasibility, the digital physics magazine obtained an average score of 4.43 with the criteria of "very good". Meanwhile, in the aspect of media feasibility, the digital physics magazine obtained an average score of 4.48 which includes the "very good" criteria. The response of class X students at SMAN 1 Garut to the digital physics magazine with a total of 29 students obtained an average percentage of 83.85% with the criteria of "very good". Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the digital physics magazine is appropriate to be used in the process of learning activities.
