Description
Summary:In this Thesis, the author writes about intersection pattern condition, which is first discovered as a tool to classify weighing matrices, to be implemented into their generalization, namely Butson weighing matrices. The author focuses on Butson weighing matrices over the q-th root of unity, where q is a prime power, and also for small orders. The results obtained are the nonexistence of Butson weighing matrices for some triple q, n, k and the description of equivalence classes of Butson weighing matrices for some cases.
