Description
Summary:Over time, everyone's need for food and clothing has increased. This situation has resulted in a growing number of providers of necessities such as shopping centers, restaurants and others in various locations that are far or close to the location of consumers. This long distance obstacle has resulted in the growth of air cargo service companies. Service users will choose a cargo service company with lower shipping costs compared to other services. In this final project, a model is built that utilizes reference cargo data and market share with the aim of generating cargo demand data for an air cargo service company. The value error between the model result data and the reference data is small so that the model has produced cargo demand data that is close to the actual data. Furthermore, cargo aircraft flight routes are generated to distribute each cargo that has been recorded in the cargo request data. The flight route is obtained through the generation of flight routes that are run repeatedly and then the flight route with the minimum flight cost and number of aircraft is selected. The model has produced flight routes with minimum flight costs and quantities, but better results are obtained after manipulating cargo demand data through several scenarios.
