Description
Summary:Physiotherapy is one of the physical treatment methods that is often done to cure patients. Of the total needs of around 35-40 thousand physiotherapists for 300 million Indonesian residents by 2025, Indonesia currently has around 15-16 thousand. Meanwhile, physiotherapy is needed for various diseases and bruises. Due to lack of personnel, some aspects that are considered "secondary" are often ignored in the practice of physiotherapy itself. These aspects relate to the patient's mental state, such as the environment at hand, the activities carried out, and also the fear faced by patients. One alternative method that can be used is the application of virtual reality technology to medical products. Virtual reality is a simulative technology, where users can simulate any activity and environment felt by users. With virtual reality, visual appearance can improve a patient's condition, and also make the physiotherapy process more interactive.
