Altimetry satellites also take measurements of the atmosphere to estimate the biases. The data obtained by altimetry satellites have great potential for observing meteorological phenomena. However, this is still rarely done in Indonesia. On April 2021, tropical cyclone Seroja occurred in East Nusa Tenggara. The whole description above becomes the background of research to observe tropical cyclone Seroja using the Jason-3 altimetry satellite mission. The data used in this research are Sea Level Anomaly (SLA), Wet Tropospheric Correction (WTC) which will be converted into PWV (Precipitable Water Vapor), Significant Wave Height (SWH), and Wind Speed (WS). The results of the study on the sample pass show that the SLA value will decrease as it gets closer from the center of the tropical cyclone and will increase as it gets farther away. Meanwhile, SWH, PWV, and WS will have greater values as they approach the center of a tropical cyclone. The highest value of SLA was found in sample pass-1. The maximum value of SLA in this pass is 67 cm. The highest values of SWH, PWV, and WS were found in sample pass -3. The maximum value of SWH in this pass is 4.649 m, the maximum value of PWV is 10.76 cm, and the maximum value of WS is 18.47 m/s. The results of the study at the sample point in the ocean showed that the values of SWH, PWV, and WS during the Seroja tropical cyclone had the highest value when compared to their values when there was no tropical cyclone. The results of the sample point study also showed a significant decrease in PWV and WS values up to 10 days after the tropical cyclone occurred. The results of the study at the sample point near the island of Australia showed that the SLA value during the tropical cyclone Seroja had the highest value. This is caused by the constructive interference between storm surge waves and daily tides The model generated for processing in the research area has been able to show areas that have increased SWH, PWV, and WS values due to tropical cyclone Seroja. In addition, the decrease in PWV and WS values can also be seen from the comparison of weekly models. text
