Summary: | Bandung is the capital city of West Java. The city of Bandung is located between 107? 0' East Longitude and 6? 0' 55" South Latitude (Bandung, 2022). The location of Bandung Municipality is quite strategic, in terms of communication, economy and security. Therefore, the city of Bandung is one of the locations frequently visited by tourists on weekends and national holidays. In addition, the location of the city of Bandung, which is close to Jabodetabek and the many various tourist and culinary attractions that are worth visiting. The city of Bandung also has cool and fresh air that makes tourists feel comfortable. This is very influential on the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the City of Bandung.
Every year the city of Bandung has a rapid increase in tourists, especially domestic tourists. Domestic tourists who are not familiar with the city of Bandung will mostly choose random tourist locations or tourists who are confused about finding a location to travel so that tourists spend more time on the road especially when on vacation with traffic jams.
The Geographic Information System that will be built is expected to help tourists determine the most optimal route. In this study, researchers used a spatial analysis called network analysis with tools, namely the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) which can determine the most optimal route to reach the destination. The parameters determined in this study are time, distance, and the required cost. The resulting output is in the form of information about the most optimal route. The optimal route itself is the route that provides the most varied tourist locations at a predetermined cost and time.
VRP analysis will be carried out using 2 scenarios, namely Simultaneous VRP and Partial VRP. Simultaneous VRP means that there is only one VRP layer to build all routes with the advantage of being able to reach locations that are quite far away but having the disadvantage of being close and already selected cannot be re-elected while Partial VRP, which is building 1-layer with 1 route, has the advantage of having variations. many routes to the same location but have the disadvantage of many locations that are quite far away are not selected. The optimal route results are obtained with Simultaneous VRP, namely Bobobox Paskal and Partial VRP, namely Bobobox Dago. Partial VRP is recommended for tourists because it can produce different route variants for the same location so as to avoid congestion or road repairs. The expected results in
this study are simulated VRP and this partial VRP can be used by users, both for tourists as part of route information.
