Description
Summary:In rural areas, one of the dominant supply chains is the agricultural supply chain. The agricultural supply chain has various components, including the presence of the community in its development. Agricultural supply chain studies that look at this community capacity perspective are essential in research. The capacity of this community can be identified based on community organizing and organization collaborations. Selur Village, Ngrayun, Ponorogo, which has a basic sector in agriculture and has konjac as one of the leading commodities, is a case study in this research. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. From the results of the analysis, it is found that in general, community organizing has been created by organizing relationships and community willingness in various organizations in it. Things that still need to be improved are related to disseminating information, especially in processing agricultural products and environmental sustainability issues. Meanwhile, organizational collaborations have also been formed and can represent the community and have involved multistakeholders, but it is necessary to increase cooperation with Industry. Recommendations for community capacity-building strategies in the agricultural supply chain can be from consensus-based problem solving, attention to multiple issues, and the formation of a broker organization with konjac companies.
