Summary: | PT. Sementara Indah Pulomas is a foreign owned company who has been established for a long time in Indonesia, who also has contributed to support the electricity installation and distribution to all area of Indonesia. The company has an internal delivery process which involve two warehouses, namely Main Warehouse and Tent Warehouse. This process is known for its vulnerabilities due to unsynchronized material flow among the two warehouses. On Main Warehouse side, every storage, delivery and receiving activities are recorded in the company’s SAP system. However, on the Tent Warehouse side, the same activities are not able to be recorded properly. This situation causes risks on materials that already out of Main Warehouse but still in Tent Warehouse. This research conducted in order to find root cause of the problem, develop alternative solutions, also choose the most viable solution to be implemented. The research begins with business issue exploration on the internal delivery, then continued with finding the root causes of the problems, after that a number of solutions is provided with then be continued with deciding most prioritized solution. Lastly, a potential problem analysis is conducted to know the potential problems that might happen also with its contingent action to handle it. |
