COAL RESOURCES ESTIMATION AT PONDOK LABU AREA KUTAI KARTANEGARA EAST KALIMANTAN USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

There are some methods to estimate coal resources such as polygon and cross section method. Polygon method assumes that coal sediment is a kind of smooth layer, which is constant at certain area and at the point of drilling or outcrop as an axis from influence area. Cross section method assumes tha...

Coal exploration has been conducted based on topography map with the scale 1:2000, coal outcrop map, and coal drilling report.
