According to Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia, the number of internet users in Indonesia has reached 171.1 million in 2020. There was an increase of 27.9 million from 2019, which amounted to 143.2 million. However, there are still some areas in Indonesia that do not have internet access. This digital gap is an important issue that must be resolved to ensure equal access to information and knowledge. This study aims to develop priority index of internet network development in Indonesia which is divided into low, medium, and high priorities. This study considers several aspects, which are physical, natural, economic, and infrastructure aspects. The physical-nature aspect uses elevation, slope, soil bulk density, soil water content, and wind speed. The economic-infrastructure aspect uses data human modification, night light, electricity infrastructure network, and road network. This research is expected to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the goal of developing a progressive and sustainable infrastructure, as well as encouraging innovation. The results of this study are expected to be used by various parties, both private and government, in considering the priority of internet network development in Indonesia. The result of this study shows that the area with high priority internet network development index in Indonesia is still relatively large (88.6 million ha). The majority of it is from 3T (Tertinggal, Terdepan dan Terluar) areas such as Nias (West Sumatra), Lebak (Banten), Bima (NTT), East Sumba (NTT) and Waropen (Papua). text
