DYNAMICAL ANALYSIS OF THE TRANSACTION CYCLE BETWEEN E-COMMERCE USERS

As time evolves, technology allows us to provide our needs without directly interacting. One of the examples is electronic commerce (e-commerce). E-commerce transaction could be done through websites, social media, or marketplace. In this final project, observations were conducted to get insights about the transaction cycle in the marketplace to build the mathematical models of the transaction cycle between e-commerce company’s users, which is consumers, sellers, and the e-commerce company. The important components that gives impacts in observing the transaction cycle between e-commerce users is the income rate and expenses proportion of e-commerce users. Further observation about the dynamics of the models could be done by analyzing the stability and doing numerical simulations to get the impacts about the parameter and assumption that has been assigned on each model. The concept of predator-prey is being used as the fundamental model, as the application of predator-prey models has been used in wide areas, such as social sciences, biology, technology, and economies. In this term, we define fund volume of e-commerce company as the predator and fund volume of consumers also fund volume of sellers as the prey. The numerical simulation results show that the used of parameter of each model will give impact to each marketplace users’ fund to volatile.
