Technologies that are specifically designed to reduce distracted driving is known as distracted- driving reduction technology (DRT) such as Bluetooth-enabled audio systems, cellphone blocking, and phone mirroring. This study investigates the level of usage and factors that influence intention to use DRT. 418 Indonesian drivers participate in this study conducted using online questionnair. The questionnaire is developed from technology acceptance model (TAM) with base constructs: intention to use, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and additional constructs: trust in technology and personal innovativeness. Responses are given in Likert scale within 1-5 from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree”. The findings show that level of DRT usage is at 88,52% of respondents. The most- used type of DRT technology is Bluetooth-enabled audio systems. Factors that significantly influence intention to use DRT are subjective norm, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan personal innovativeness. Implications from this study is discussed as basis for intervention strategy in reducing distracted driving in Indonesia.
