Summary:Jakarta and the area around it has water supply issue. One of the solution to mitigate this problem is to build a water reservoir. Since in Jakarta has limited land the reservoir is desinged to be built offshore and use the water supply from cisadane watershed that has an area of 1515 km2. The reservoir is designed to have two kinds storage which is clean water storage and unclean water storage. Dependable flow on cisadane river is calculated using nreca method which the results if for Q90 , Q80, and Q50 is 11,70 m3/s , 38,42 m3/s, and 108,60 m3/s. From this data, a channel and sand trap will be designed based off Q80. The sandtrap is designed to be able settle sediments larger than 0,05 mm.
