Along with the rapid development of the oil and gas industry in the Indonesian seas, underwater oil and gas pipeline infrastructure is the main choice in distributing drilling results to land where the results will be processed into energy that will be used by the Indonesian people and which will be distributed abroad. This study was made with the aim of helping to analyze the condition of the damaged sea pipe in the form of free range and the suitability of the position of the sea pipe when compared to the seabed sediment. The method used is sounding using Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) and Side Scan Sonar (SSS) instruments. To see the free span, the results of MBES and SSS data processing are used to get the depth data and the horizontal position of the free span. To adjust the position of the sea pipe to the sediment, MBES and SSS data were further processed into slope, entropy and image intensity data so that the sediment classification is known. The conclusion is that there are 103 free span phenomena scattered along the sea pipeline and the position of the sea pipeline is in accordance with its place because it is located on clay soil. text
