products a necessity with function as its main value. Excessive direct exposure to
UV rays allows for alarming skin damage. Design innovation with new visuals
allows anti-UV clothing products to be seen by many as a fashion need that has
benefits besides. Anti-UV fabric as a fabric that is given special treatment has more
potential to be processed with a surface design approach in the form of fabric
manipulation techniques with new visuals, such as albinism to get design
innovations without changing the structure of the specially designed anti-UV
fabric. Through a visual review and exploration of the processing of anti-UV
fabrics, it is hoped that it will open up visual inspiration that can educate consumers
to pay attention to the usefulness of a product beyond its attractive appearance. Not
only that, the research is also expected to provide inspiration in designing fashion
products in the form of clothing in terms of aesthetics as well as functional value.
