Summary:Situgunung is one of the conservation areas of the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, the working area of the National Park Management Resort Situgunung, National Park Management Resort Section Region IV Situgunung, National Park Management Resort Region II Sukabumi. Situgunung is a leading tourist area in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Situgunung National Park Management Resort located on Situgunung Highway KM.8, Pangrango Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency. Situgunung National Park Management Resort presents a beautiful landscape that contains biodiversity including the diversity of limnic ecosystems, terrestrial ecosystems, and the diversity of terrestrial biota species. This biodiversity forms a unified landscape that contains natural potential in it. Based on the above conditions, the Situgunung area has the potential to be explored and implemented into research in various domains. Through craft design activities that include the exploration and processing of textile materials with surface design techniques, it opens up the potential for the landscape of the Situgunung National Park Management Resort to be used as a source of inspiration in designing textile works. Textile design with a source of inspiration for the landscape of the Situgunung National Park Management Resort, then directed as a means of visual archiving the beauty and biodiversity contained therein through an artistic approach in the textile realm. The research carried out not only opens up opportunities for exploring the potential of nature as a source of inspiration for creating textile work and the achievement of visual image archiving activities through textile media but also the results of this research can be implemented into applied textile products.
