Mangrove ecosystems have important functions, roles, and benefits for land and sea areas. The optimization of the functions of the mangrove ecosystem depends on the health condition of the mangroves. Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk (TWAAK) is a natural tourism park area that focuses on ecotourism and the conservation of mangrove ecosystems. This study aims to assess the health of mangroves based on the Mangrove Health Index (MHI) and the mangrove stand structure at TWAAK. The study was conducted by taking plots by purposive sampling, namely the determination of plots based on criteria for dense, medium, and sparse canopy cover which were analyzed using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Thirty plots were taken, consisting of twelve rare plots, eleven medium plots, and seven dense plots. The MHI value is a combination of the percentage score of canopy cover, DBH, and the number of stakes. Meanwhile, the mangrove stand structure was determined based on the parameters of the percentage of canopy cover, stand height, DBH, and the number of stands. Mangrove health in TWAAK based on the MHI for rare and medium density classes is in the moderate category and the dense density class is in the healthy category. Based on the stand structure, the health of mangroves in TWAAK for the rare density class is in the fair category and the medium and dense density class is in the good category. text
