The first step classify the type of fault by comparating the maximum magnitude of detail coefficient wavelet transform in zero sequence signal and non zero sequence signal . The second step estimate the actual fault location using Wavelet Transform. The obtained results from simulation show that the proposed technique is able to classify fault and estimate location with high accuracy. text
