During its appearance, sunspot tends to form a group in an active region. Sunspot also always has properties change such as in movement, size, and its complexity. Properties change of sunspot often being associated with solar flare phenomenon, a release of energy and material due to magnetic reconnection or other form of magnetic dissipation in an active region. Sunspot proper motion can trigger a solar flare to take place. Vice versa, solar flare also can make significant change in sunspot proper motion. Deep analysis using high resolution data can lead us to understand about evolution pattern of individual sunspot and its relationship with solar flare. In this Final Project, there are 4 active regions associated with X-class flare being analyzed: AR11158 (11-21 February 2011), AR12242 (15-22 December 2012), AR11520 (7-16 July 2012), and AR11166 (3-13 March 2011). The analysis of sunspot evolution is done by using AIA data from SDO mission with measuring hourly change of position and area of individual sunspot. These measurement also could be related to its classification class. The result shows that sunspot tends to have enhancement of proper motion and reduction of area before solar flare take place. When it comes close to the time of solar flare, there is usually an appearance of small area in the active region where many sunspots concentrated inside it, with tendencion to move into one certain direction. This small area suspected as the trigger of solar flare itself. When it comes to sunspot evolution in overall, sunspot usually started with high proper motion that decrease as its classification class getting more complex, even though it will increase again after reaching certain complexity. text
