Summary: | Social interaction plays an important role in fostering a spirit of collaboration
between elements and communities. Collaboration nowadays is very important,
because it can unite the same goals so that they are more easily achieved together.
Lebak Siliwangi Village is one of the villages that has various problems and
potentials related to its urban village. To achieve this big goal, the Lebak Siliwangi
village needs the role of collaborators, one of the closest collaborators are students,
especially ITB students whose geographical location is very close to the Lebak
Siliwangi village. The purpose of this research is to design a Collaborative Spaces
that support various activities that can improve the pattern of interaction between
students and the people of Lebak Siliwangi. The design method was carried out
using a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data from several sources such
as literature reviews, field observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The data
that has been collected, then analyzed as the basis for the design of this
Collaborative Spaces. The design of Collaborative Spaces carries the essence of
"botram" as a major social closeness that grows and develops in the Lebak
Siliwangi community. The focus area designed is Collaborative Spaces as a center
for student and community activities in Lebak Siliwangi. With this research and
design, it is hoped that it can increase the potential for collaboration between
students and the Lebak Siliwangi community, which will then help develop them
tobe better for their community. |
