Summary:Abstract: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In granulation process, granule formation with certain size distribution is very important. Granule filling process into the dies is volumetric. The difference of granule size distribution is predicted to influence the amount of tablet mass flowing into the dies. Granules with various size distribution were prepared using fluidized bed dryer and tableted by three different diameter of punches 7, 10, and 12 mm respectively. The characteristic of produced tablets that was evaluated included size variation, weight and content uniformity, hardness, disintegration time, friability, and friction ability. There is correlation between various size of granules with produced tablet weight. Granules which are dominant by coarse size will produce higher weight deviation than those of fine if were tableted by 7, 10, and 12 mm diameter of punch. <br />
