| Summary: | Cancer is a deadly disease caused by gene mutations that can attack children and adults. In Indonesia, every year there are around 13,000 – 16,000 children who is gotten by cancer. In Indonesia, children with advanced cancer receive treatments at health centre. Currently, the medical treatment is used that focuses on physical health, which causes problems on mental and psychological problems because there are not balance in the recovery process. Holistic treatment is applied to fix the root of the problem more thoroughly, both physically, mentally, and spiritually which is complemented by palliative care that aims to improve a person's quality of life, and help to reduce the side effects of cancer. The design of this treatment centre can be achieved by applying holistic treatment methods to provide support and motivation to children in fighting cancer. |
