Description
Summary:The seven kinds of flower forms is one of the ideas or cultural symbols that is used as an element in the series of activities of various traditions in Indonesia involving the cycle of human life. The seven kinds of flowers continue to live in society from time to time even the idea itself is still used in modern times. The seven kinds of flowers can be viewed visually, used as inspiration in artworks, and can be used as a medium for conveying a symbol of human cultures. By conducting a visual study and exploring the visual elements of the seven kinds of flowers, various types of products with decorative elements that represent the seven kinds of flowers can be produced. One of the materials that can be used to make these products is ceramics, namely clay that is burned at high temperatures. Ceramics have been a material for forming daily human-made objects since the time of Ancient Egypt around 3150 BC whose remains can still be found today. The research carried out resulted in an interior ceramic product using a hand-building technique that represents the seven kinds of flowers as a result of human thoughts and cultures that are still remembered and used by the Indonesian people in their various traditional activities.
