Description
Summary:Abstract:

Optimation of kaempferitrin extraction of Indigofera arrecta Hochst. ex A. Rich. and comparation of kaempferitrin content of Indigofera arrecta, Indigofera suffruticosa Mill., and Indigofera tinctoria L. had been carried out. Crude drugs were extracted using reflux method for one hour. Kaempferitrin content was measured using high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) by gradient elution. Kaempferitrin content of methanol, methanol 50persen, ethanol 95persen, ethanol 50persen, and aqueous extracts were 8.93 0.05, 4.32 0.14, 7.28 0.15, 6.47 0.10, and 2.1 0.03 mg/g, respectively. Kaempferitrin content of Indigofera arrecta 10persen, 20persen, and 30persen were 8.93 0.05, 15.36 2.42, and 12.23 0.13 mg/g, respectively. Kaempferitrin content of Indigofera arrecta, Indigofera suffruticosa, and Indigofera tinctoria extracts were 8.93 0.05, 0.63 0.03, and 0.47 0.03 mg/g, respectively. Indigofera arrecta contain more kaempferitrin than another two species of Indigofera. Highest kaempferitrin yield was obtained by extracting one part of crude drugs with five part of methanol.
