This percentage is opposed to the high number of clinical psychologists based in West Java Province and the high number of mental health services based in Bandung. Inhibition of mental health services is due to a lack of public mental health literacy, which further fosters a stigma directed not just against mental health but also toward less-than-optimal mental health treatments.
