Summary:In Indonesia, there is an active geodetic control network called Ina-CORS which is maintained by Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG). The Ina-CORS station can be used to detect deformation phenomena with small magnitudes. However, it is necessary to know the optimum network in detecting small-magnitude deformations. In the development of a geodetic network, precision is one of the aspect that should be considered. Optimization of the precision level of geodetic network can be done using the Single-Objective Optimization Model (SOOM). This research was made to obtain the optimal design of the Ina-CORS network by considering the precision aspect using the SOOM method to detect small-magnitude deformations. The case study of this research focuses on Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara. The optimization use 5 mm of displacement parameter. In the optimization process, there is a baseline that is removed from the ideal network formed by Delaunay triangulation and manual removal of the baseline by considering triangles with less strong geometries. Baseline removal in SOOM optimization is carried out based on a small weight value because the baseline with a small weight will not have a significant effect on the overall network. The results of the Ina-CORS network model in this study are the Java-Bali-Nusa Tenggara Ina-CORS network after the optimization process.
