However, several studies indicated the level of people's knowledge and trust in generic drugs are not sufficient yet. People's behavior towards drugs, including how to get, use, store, and dispose of drugs, has a significant impact on the environment and the consumers themselves. Therefore, there are GeMa CerMat (Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Obat) and DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, dan Buang) programs. This study determines the level of knowledge and trust in generic drugs of the people in the Bekasi Regency based on their socioeconomic level and their sensibility to getting, using, storing, and disposing of drugs. This study method is a descriptiveanalytical survey using an online questionnaire with a cross-sectional approach to 431 respondents. Data sampling was carried out from February to March 2022 in Bekasi Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The result shows that 42.69% Bekasi Regency's people have fair knowledge towards generic drugs while the level of trust in generic drugs tends to be high. The behavior of 55.92% of Bekasi Regency’s people towards drugs is also still included in the inappropriate category. Socioeconomic factors that influence knowledge are gender and occupation (p = 0.028; 0.004), factors that influence trust are age and occupation (p = 0.005; 0.003), and factors that influence behavior are just gender (p = 0.002). text
