A valuation of mangrove ecosystem services need to be carried out to support sustainable management. The Bojong Salawe mangrove area is a mangrove rehabilitation area designed for the restoration of mangrove ecosystem services. This study aimed to estimate the economic value of ecosystem services in the Muara Bojong Salawe mangrove area based on use-value. Evaluated ecosystem services include provision, regulation, and culture. The economic evaluation of ecosystem provision was carried out by evaluating fish and shrimp products and nipah leaves and propagules usage. The economic evaluation of fish and shrimp products carried out through interviews with 173 fishermen determined by purposive sampling. The economic evaluation of the nipah leaves and propagules usage is determined by the census using the market price method. The economic evaluation of cultural ecosystem was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to 35 tourist respondents using the individual travel cost method. The economic evaluation of regulating ecosystem, in this study mangroves act as abrasion resistance is carried out using the damage cost method and CO 2 absorption using the social cost of carbon method. The economic value obtained from provisioning ecosystem is 4,451,635,099 IDR / year, 2,403,655,570 IDR/ year, 30,000,000 IDR / year, and 3,598,000,000 IDR/ year. The estimated economic value of cultural ecosystem services is 58,664,512.4 IDR/ year. Meanwhile, the economic value of regulating ecosystem services, amounted to 14,292,090 IDR / year and 1,748,467,513 IDR/ year. The use value of several ecosystem services assessed in the Muara Bojong Salawe Mangrove Area is 12,304,714,784 IDR/ year. |
