Remu River which flows in the middle of Sorong City becomes one of the main reason of the flood disaster that happens every year and causes many harms in economic and social aspects. This research is meant to design the best flood control solution that can be done in Remu River by the way of river integration, in order to increase its maximum capacity to be able to hold more water discharges. Structures that are designed includes embankment and sheetpiles at the bank stations, also reservoir and its dam structures as a flood control structure. Hydraulic modellings are done with the help of HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS softwares. 1D (one dimension) Modelling works as the main feature that is being used in HEC-RAS, as it compares the maximum water elevation and the bank station elevation. Based on the results, the flooded cross sections will be highlighted and the levees’ design will also be applied and adapted based on the border space in the field. text
