deserved to be remembered for their services by the community. However, not all national
heroes are known by the public. Ruhana Kuddus, a female figure from Minangkabau who
was recently awarded the title of National Hero in 2019 is a National Hero that most
people don't know. Knowing and understanding historical narratives about heroism from
an early age can foster the spirit of nationalism. In addition, by knowing heroes, children
do not give up easily when they are in trouble. Therefore, through a design that is based
on a literature study and analysis of the data that has been collected, the picture book of
the biography of Ruhana Kuddus is expected to make children interested in knowing
Ruhana Kuddus. |
