This ultimately encourages people to live an eco- lifestyle that is closely related to the use of renewable resources such as using biodegradable natural fibers as an alternative to conventional polymer materials that damage the environment. Blustru plant (Luffa cylindrica) is a plant that thrives in Indonesia, and many farmers choose to cultivate it, because the price is stable and the harvest time is fast. Blustru fiber itself has the characteristics of a fiber that is strong, durable, very light, resistant to hot and cold steam, capable of absorbing sound, semi-translucent, easy to explore and has high absorption of water. However, there are very few innovations in bluestru-based products in Indonesia, especially grade C or low-quality fiber which has the least number of consumers. Even though grade C fiber has its drawbacks, it still has potential. In this research, the potential of the fiber is utilized appropriately and maximally, so that the quality of grade C fiber can be better and more robust and can be further developed into a portable room divider product that has broad and promising market opportunities. text
