Summary:Prabu Siliwangi is a mysterious figure who is known as one of the kings during the Pajajaran Kingdom. the story of King Siliwangi's moksa is currently lacking and rarely introduced through the performing arts. The story of Prabu Siliwangi when viewed further has a lot to do with the birth of various cultures in Tatar Sunda, including textiles. The story of Prabu Siliwangi as one of the stories that is quite legendary among the people, especially the Sundanese people, this story has become an inspiration for research because it has the potential to bring back and develop Sundanese culture and textiles that existed during the Pajajaran Kingdom. This has become a basis for producing and developing a costume design through the media of performing arts, musical drama, the story of Moksa Prabu Siliwangi by exploring needlework techniques in the form of embroidery and beadings techniques. The use of needlework techniques can provide novelty from visual aesthetic elements, as well as the development of textiles as a form of developing techniques used during the Pajajaran kingdom. The final result of this research is the design of a work in the form of a character costume in the story of Moksa Prabu Siliwangi which will be displayed through the media of musical drama using needlework technique. This research is a form of reviving history and culture that is increasingly forgotten by the community.
