Summary:“The Kampung of Roving Coffee Traders” is a name given to a district located in Prapatan Baru Street, Senen, Jakarta. The majority of the residents work as a coffee trader roving around Jakarta with a bike. On daily basis, fellow coffee traders helping each other to prepare their bikes before roving around, the activities include filling their thermos bottle with hot water and arranging bags of instant coffee onto their bikes. The wives are also involved in helping to prepare snacks to be peddled. The phenomenon of neighbors living synchronous with cooperating in carrying out economic activities in the Kampung of Roving Coffee Traders Jakarta is the main idea that will be studied through this research, to then be adapted in designing a shared living facility in the typology of Co-living Space. The design of the Co-living Space aims to answer the need for an adequate living space for the residents, with shared living facility that focus on supporting social relations between the residents as a community.
