Summary: | Indonesia’s Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in 2017 accounted for 177 deaths per 100.000 live births,
while in 2030, United Nations targeted countries’ MMRs below 70 per 100.000 live births which was
becoming one of the Sustainable Development Goals success indicators in improving Health and
Wellbeing. As much as 75% of MMR was caused by pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, postpartum extreme
hemorrhage, infection, and maternal complications because of inadequate medical services, low level
of education, cultural beliefs and practices, distance to healthcare facilities, and poverty. This final
project’s objective is to build a maternal health application prototype aiming to monitor pregnancy
health. This project was conducted in several steps that consisted of planning, user flow constructing,
designing, wireframing, usability testing, and satisfaction score measuring. The wireframes were made
using Figma application. The usability test was conducted using maze.co which measured the time
taken to complete a task, accuracy, success rate, misclicks, and performance rate of the prototype. To
measure users’ satisfaction with the services given in the prototype, a SERVQUAL-based questionnaire
was used. The prototype provided several features as described as follows: Online Consultation, Article
as an education platform, To-Do List, Calendar, and Signs & Symptoms Log. The usability test resulted
in an average of 45.9 ± 40 seconds needed to complete a task, 100% accuracy, 99% success or task
completion rate with the average of 5.2±7.7 misclicks count. In addition, the SERVQUAL-based
questionnaire resulted in 93.6% user satisfaction.
