Description
Summary:Water plays a major role in human daily life and has various uses, such as for agriculture, recreation, industry, and of course plays a role in maintaining human health. Seeing the important role of water, the manager of Kota Baru Parahyangan made an innovation in the form of a water-saving program to preserve water so that it can be used by future generations. The program has been running since 2014. Therefore, in its operation the manager does not carry out monitoring and evaluation so that the manager does not know the success or failure of the program. The results of the analysis carried out show that the level of water consumption per individual from 2018 - 2020 is still in the high category with the level of water consumption being at a value of 159,119 - 173,267 liters/person/day. This value is still higher than the national standard SNI 03-7065-2005 which stipulates that the water consumption per individual per day is 120 liters/person/day, so the program is said to have failed. Then it will be analyzed the perception of the community which is one of the determining factors of the intensity of the surrounding community by using the Theory of Planned Behavior method. If you look at the perception of the people of Kota Baru Parahyangan regarding the water-saving program, the results show that the public's perception is quite high on the water-saving program. This can be seen from the values of Attitude Toward Behavior (ATB), subjective norms (SN), and perceived behavioral control (PBC) from the community which states public perceptions. The results showed that the ATB value was in the range 4.59 – 4.79 which means strongly agree, the SN value is in the range 3.46 – 3.86 which may agree, and the PBC value is in the range 3.91 – 4.05. which means agree. Then the three values produce an intensity with a value of 4.22 which means strongly agree. The results also describe the variable relationship between perceptions of community intensity which is analyzed using multiple linear regression where the correlation coefficient value shows a value of 0.601 which means that the relationship between the two is strong. Perception also affects the intention of 36.20%.
