One of the performance indicators for operational activities in TBBM Y is coverage days. Coverage days is a metric to show the number of days the available stock can fulfill customer demand. At the current condition, average coverage days for all of the products stored in TBBM Y is 10,25 days, while the standard set by PT X is 14,10 days. The unfulfilled standard is caused by unideal replenishment strategy in TBBM Y. A mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model is used to schedule the distribution of multiple oil products from supply point to TBBM Y using pipeline. The objective of the model is to obtain a distribution schedule that will fulfill the coverage days standard and also has a minimum operational cost. The MILP model in this research is a dynamic model that will also show the inventory evolution for each point of time in the planning horizon. This research focuses on the operational planning in TBBM Y. Three alternatives are obtained from this research. All alternatives have low demand-supply deviation volume and fulfilled the coverage days standard set by PT X. Alternative with the lowest demand-supply deviation volume is the two-supply points scenario with deviation 0,43 kL and average coverage days 29,20 days. For the 1 supply point alternative, batching method scenario has the best result with the average coverage days of 39,83 days. text |

PT X, an oil company in Indonesia, has an oil terminal in Riau Province called TBBM Y. One of
the performance indicators for operational activities in TBBM Y is coverage days. Coverage days
is a metric to show the number of days the available stock can fulfill customer demand. At the
current condition, average coverage days for all of the products stored in TBBM Y is 10,25 days,
while the standard set by PT X is 14,10 days. The unfulfilled standard is caused by unideal
replenishment strategy in TBBM Y.
A mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model is used to schedule the distribution of
multiple oil products from supply point to TBBM Y using pipeline. The objective of the model is
to obtain a distribution schedule that will fulfill the coverage days standard and also has a
minimum operational cost. The MILP model in this research is a dynamic model that will also

average coverage days 29,20 days. For the 1 supply point alternative, batching method scenario
has the best result with the average coverage days of 39,83 days. |
