ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Cationic metalloporphyrins have strong affinity to DNA. In addition, their binding characteristic to DNA can be easily tuned by varying metal ion. One of cationic metalloporphyrins is nickel(II)pyrazoliumporphyrin (NiPzP).
