Water is a basic need of every human being. Many human needs depend on the use of 111ater such as/or drinking, 1vashing, bathing, and many other things. Waste and improper use of water can lead to water scarcity in the future. Bandung has high rainfall of around 1400-1500 mm I year, but drought conditions can be found in various areas during the dry season, such as East Bandung which tends to have many factories and other agencies that dredge a lot of ground111ater. The production capacity of clean 111ater in West Java Province during the period 2013 to 2018 tends to fluctuate. Mean1-vhile, the number of clean water customers and the amount of clean i,vater that must be distributed continues to increase. The number of PAM customers in 2017 1vas 1.24 million customers, experiencing an increase to 1.62 million customers in 2019. Clean 1vater distributed in 2017 amounted to 372.9 million I m3, an increase to 395.6 million I m3 in 2018 Based on these facts, if the increase in PAM subscribers and clean 11,ater distributed continues, it is feared that it 111ill cause 1vater scarcity in the future. This final project is intended as a means to become a 111ater saving solution today. We designed an loT-based 111ater use monitoring system in the public toilets of the 1TB Campus to monitor 1vater usage and prevent 111ater 111aste. The system that we have designed can detect the use of 1vater by users 1vho ha11e registered into the system specifically. Our focus in this project is on the tap 1vater product in the sink. The product 1vill be equipped 1,vith an automatic tap with 1vater usage monitoring system for each user specifically. We divide users into n,vo groups, namely sink users and water jlo1v monitoring officers. Our sink users are divided into nvo groups, namely users of the 1TB academic community and users of the 1TB academic community or commonly referred to as the general public . .ln this system, every sink user belonging to the 1TB academic community i,vill carry out the process of introducing the payment and ticketing system outside the toilet and then printing barcode tickets. in this article, the author 111ill focus on designing and implementing payment and ticketing systems for general users
