Since it was founded in 1825 up until this research being held, this mosque had gone through five renovations. During those span of time, the environmental condition also had gone through changes. Due to the city spatial changes and the growth of people in Bandung. The renovation began in 2002 can be said as the biggest change of space and appearance that this mosque ever had. The aim of this renovation from the governments point of view is to preserve the symbolic meaning of Mesjid Agung Bandung as the representative of a distinguish and positive government as well as a remembrance of spiritual values. <br /> text |
