Description
Summary:Globalization that is happening in Indonesian society today causes Indonesian culture to be increasingly eroded, people's lives that are increasingly pragmatic cannot guarantee that the value of a culture will continue to live in society. Borobudur Temple has a noble value that records the essence of the culture of the Indonesian people like a book. One of the reliefs at Borobudur Temple that has a high essence is the Manohara and Sudhana reliefs which teach the essence of the value of dwitunggal, compassion, love, struggle, and devotion that reflected Javanese society at that time. Crafts have a close relationship with the history, environment, and traditions of the people who created them. Through craft products, these reliefs can be reintroduced. One way to introduce the reliefs of Manohara and Sudhana is through the application of illustrations on textiles using background design techniques on fashion products using visual language.
