Coronavirus disease (COV!D-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2
virus. Due to its high contagiousness, COV!D-19 is set to become a global-scale pandemic in 2020.
There are many impacts from this pandemic, both in the fields of health, economy, social, and
education. !n the field of education, the pandemic has forced many students to study remotely
to suppress the spread of COV!D-19. So the !ndonesian government has declared the need for
digital-based education transformation. However, there are still many 3T regions in !ndonesia that
do not yet have adequate infrastructure to carry out the digital transformation of education.
Based on the problems above, a solution is needed so that students in areas that do not have
internet infrastructure can continue to study. This solution must comply with health protocols,
do not require internet infrastructure, and be practically used by the users. Therefore,
the author proposes an alternative digital-based education using a mobile server to
enable learning during the COV!D-19 pandemic. This mobile server can be used in all
areas, both without electricity resources and without an internet connection. This mobile server is
portable, can be connected to 20 clients, has a maximum range of 12 m, and an operating time of up
to 8 hours.
Keywords: COV!D-19, education transformation, 3T area, internet, and mobile
server.
